A VERY easy, stiff buttercream! (and patriotic, too…)
Yield: Good to frost and fill a split 9 inch cake.
2 sticks Butter (1 cup)
1/2 cup Shortening
1 box Sifted Confectioner’s Sugar (1 lb)
2 tbsp Water
Cream together the butter and shortening in a mixer on medium speed.
On low speed, slowly add confectioner’s sugar, until incorporated.
